The earthquake in Haiti

This year started with a terrible tragedy. The earthquake in Haiti devastated the capital city, killing thousands and destroying much of the infrastructure of this desperately poor country.

Haitians are urgently appealing to the world for help, not only to overcome the immediate emergency, but for all the time required to reconstruct the country.

On Saturday 20th, on behalf of Architecture for Humanity, Urban Village Melbourne who partnered with Architects for Peace, we presented: GLOBAL PECHAKUCHA DAY FOR HAITI in Melbourne. There will be much to be done in the days and years ahead.
