How to publish posts in arch-peace blogs

Blogger has updated its posting system and menu and now is it a breeze to post to blogger.

TEXT: Paste your un-formatted text using the "HTML" tab (above) and edit your post in the "Compose" tab (spaces, bold, italics, quotes and superscript). When published, un-formatted text will automatically become 'verdana' 10pt--this is the default font face used in our pages. Please avoid copying and pasting (on 'compose' mode) from a doc/docx document.

LABELS: Please don't forget to label your post (please use existing labels, unless it is absolutely necessary to create a new one). Use the 'article' label only when the text is (by length, content and style) more than a post. Here the list of labels:
adaptive reuse (1) announcements (19) architects (6) architecture (18) articles (36) campaigns (22) cities/countries (30) commentary (3) culture (17) design (5) development (10) discussions (7) ecology (11) education (18) essay (students) (2) events (25) fundraising (3) housing (11) interviews (7) man-made-disasters (12) memorials (3) occupation (5) peace (7) planning (13) poverty (6) professions (6) profile (8) projects (13) publications (2) reconstruction (18) reports (2) reviews (7) statements (4) transport (6) urban (15) visual essay (1) volunteer-positions (1) EVENTS + COMPETITIONS

JUMP BREAK (read more): Place your first image before or just below the first paragraph (if long) or the first 2 paragraphs (if these are very short).
Place a break in the post somewhere below the first image and/or below one or two paragraphs (see other posts for guidance). The break is the broken page icon (see image) on the blog menu above, this will automatically create a "read more" text in your post.

AUTHORSHIP: Don't forget to write the name of the author and note any link to the original source (if the article has been sourced from somewhere else, with prior permission).

CREDITS: example
Credits: Photographs from Melissa GarcĂa Lamarca. Cartoon from a 'Favelas in Action' protest flyer.
HYPERLINK: To place a link, highlight the text and press Link on the menu, place the website link or email link in the box.

IMAGES: Note that you can easily place images. Images have their own menu associated to them, left click on the image for the menu. There you can chose the size of the image and place the image text inside the caption box.

QUOTES: highlight text and apply the inverted quotes symbol from the menu. Here and example of quoted text:
"Note that you can easily place images. Images have their own menu associated to them, left click on the image for the menu. There you can chose the size of the image and place the image text inside the caption box."Souce: above.
Please don't forget to check your post before and after publishing--check for any typos, spaces (too much/too little), missing captions, opportunities to improve the look (bold, larger/smaller text, changing colour and adding quotes using the menu "") etc.

Enjoy posting! :)
